The firm routinely prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the U.S. and foreign patent offices. Our attorneys have vast experience in all phases of patent procurement including practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and appeals to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. This experience extends to a wide ranging area of electrical and mechanical technologies including computer hardware and software, website technology, electronic circuitry, semiconductor fabrication, RF and mobile phone technology, telecommunication networks and devices, including IEEE 802.3, 802.11, and WiFi technology, LED lighting apparatus, etc.

Patent Litigation

The firm’s lawyers have been lead counsel and members of trial teams litigating some of the largest, most complex patent infringement cases ever brought in the United States. From the patent owner’s side, our attorneys typically devise a patent enforcement strategy, which may entail patent licensing efforts before or after the filing of an infringement complaint. Our attorneys are experienced in performing tasks necessary to support patent litigation and licensing such as patent Infringement and patent validity analysis, as well assessment of the amount of damages potentially recoverable under prevailing legal standards. We are also experienced in preparation of opinions on patent validity and infringement and developing strategies to “design around” patents to avoid infringement.
