Ha is counsel at Lapple Ubell IP Law.  Her practice emphasizes intellectual property litigation as well as business litigation.  She has experience defending publicly- and privately-held companies against class-action lawsuits, unfair competition claims, false-advertising claims, and Attorney General investigations and actions.  Her clients have included biopharmaceutical companies, consumer-electronics and consumer beauty products manufacturers, and telecommunications service providers.  

In 2011, Ha was a law clerk for the Honorable Roger T. Benitez, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of California. 

Ha lives in Southern California with her husband and daughter, and she enjoys hiking, writing, and knitting.

​Matt is a US Patent & Trademark Office (PTO)-registered attorney who has prosecuted patents and trademarks and has litigated patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret cases for his clients.  He also has negotiated and drafted a variety of intellectual-property licensing and software-development agreements and prepared non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for clients.  Matt is experienced in a wide variety of technology areas and has litigated patent cases in the fields of software, medical devices,wireless communications,and semiconductors.  

Matt also has litigated a wide range of non-intellectual issues important to technology companies, including anonymous on-line trade libel, breach of software license, responding to computer hacking attacks, and the defense of a consumer class action lawsuit for allegedly defective disk drives.
 
When he is not working with clients, Matt enjoys practicing archery at his local archery range, following his favor Major League Soccer team, the LA Galaxy, and gardening organic fruits, vegetables, and roses.

Frank's intellectual-property practice focuses on patent prosecution and litigation, trademark prosecution and litigation, and trade-secret litigation.  He serves clients in the areas of semiconductors, computer software and networking, medical devices, optics, LED lighting technology, and telecommunications, including cellular and wireless technologies.  

Frank also has experience litigating unfair-competition and antitrust matters.  He has represented clients as lead counsel in both federal and state courts and has considerable first-chair trial experience in both jury and non-jury proceedings.


Away from the courtroom and the office, Frank enjoys following his favorite college football team, the Fighting Illini, snow skiing, and gardening.
